I really enjoyed knitting these fiddly little RNLI guys. The smaller one was created somewhere between Cascais and Sines in Portugal waters. Between dolphin watching, enjoying the relaxation and fantastic sunny weather, the knitting needles clacked away.
Again the pattern was one of Jean Greenhowe's and can be found here - www.jeangreenhowe.com.
Nick added a rope on the larger one and buttons were used for eyes. The smaller one was fun to make and quite a few adjustments were made to the pattern. The vest took some patients to work out and was knit several times to get the right size.
